Day 1: Arrival at the train station in Lille

Ideally, arrive in Lille by train in the morning, at either Lille Flandres or Lille Europe station. These two stations are relatively close to each other and very close to the city center. So, no matter which one you choose, the logistics once you're there will be very similar. To give you an idea, it only takes 5 minutes to walk from one station to the other.

Many accommodations are located around these stations, depending on whether you want to be close to simplify logistics, in the heart of the city center, or outside the city. In any case, once you arrive, you can arrange a transfer from the station to your accommodation, so your employees can drop off their belongings and discover the establishment you have chosen. Accommodation plays an important role during your professional event, so it is important to select and book a place that corresponds to the image you want to convey through this seminar.

Once you arrive at the establishment, you can take a tour of the premises with your teams before starting the program of the stay. Once the employees are settled in, everyone is invited to a first team-building activity, either at the hotel in one of the rooms made available for this purpose, or in another room outside the establishment. You can also present the organization of this stay, and why not ask the company president to make a short speech.

For lunch, you can discover one of the many Lille dishes such as maroilles cheese tart or Potjevleesch (meat in jelly) with your teams.

The afternoon can be reserved for discovering tourist attractions in Lille during a guided tour, during which you can see the Grand-Place, the Bourse, or the Citadelle and the cathedral while learning about the historical aspects of this city. Old Lille is a beautiful place, and above all, full of history. To end this first day in style: taste another typical Lille dish in a brasserie: welsh accompanied by a craft beer to please the gourmands! After trying this typical dish, you can return to your hotel rooms, by bike, on foot, by metro or by bus.

Day 2: Between concentration and Lille tasting

After a restful night in the chosen establishment, you can start the day with a breakfast with your employees, just before a half-day study session. It is smarter to organize this part requiring concentration in the morning, because it is the time of day when most people have their peak productivity. During this period, you can for example do an activity a point regarding the objectives of the company, or turtle kind of activity that seems important to you. It will mainly depend on the objective of your corporate seminar. You can stay within your establishment if it has rooms dedicated to this type of event, otherwise there are many rooms and spaces specialized in hosting professional events such as corporate seminars.

After a busy half-day, it's time to taste a new dish! Being close to the Belgian border, you have to taste Belgian fries, which are of course a traditional dish in Lille due to its proximity to the border. Many chip shops exist in the city, so you can easily find them throughout the city. It is traditional to accompany the portion of fries with a fricadelle, which you can therefore offer to your employees.

After this savory break, you can take your company to visit the swimming pool museum located in Roubaix, only 20 minutes from Lille in order to spend an afternoon rich in culture. At the same time, you can visit the city of Roubaix.

Once back in Lille, there are many team building activities possible to end the day, before a convivial meal with all your employees to discover a new dish in an estaminet, a type of Lille restaurant that offers typical dishes in a convivial atmosphere.

Day 3: Grand tour and grand departure from Lille

For your last day in Lille, and like the previous days, you can organize a moment of work with your employees after breakfast before going back to discover the city.

To end the corporate seminar in style, you can organize a kind of orientation course in the city center or like a treasure hunt, to end this stay on a fun aspect and mark the minds of your teams. Thanks to this type of activity, you can also develop team spirit and cohesion between employees.

After this activity, you can of course leave a moment of free time to your employees, so that they can take advantage of this moment to return to see a place they enjoyed, a museum or do some shopping.

To organize a moment with all the participants one last time, you can reserve the time slot of the hour before your train in a room near the station to thank and address the words of the president to your teams.

Before getting on the train, you can stop to taste a Merveilleux, a typical Lille pastry before taking the train to return to your usual city.

Once your event is over, it is important that you communicate about it in order to benefit from the positive spin-offs of the latter.

Overall, Lille is an ideal destination for a seminar, especially for companies that want to offer a friendly setting while offering an important cultural discovery, this city is just waiting for your company!
